Minutes/Reports:

Purpose: To serve as an advisory to the GATE program as required in GATE plan, review and make recommendations on the implementation of GATE services in the district.

Essential Questions:

  • How are we identifying and qualifying kids?
  • Are we satisfied with eligibility, identification?
  • What are we doing to serve gifted kids below grades 3 and 4?
  • How are we going to measure progress?
  • What is offered for GATE (how are they identified?  Are they included in the current identification) and G (are we satisfied?)
  • What are we doing for under 4th grade (eligibility criteria, when?)
  • What is the plan?  ($, objectives)
  • Will we research other GATE models?
  • Does differentiation work?
  • What is it?
  • What does Hall offer?
  • How do we support high achievers?
