Superintendent's 2013-2014
Welcome Message

Hello Larkspur-Corte Madera School District Community.  We are very excited to open the new 13-14 school year.  The educational horizon is full of hope and inspiration. Educators are gearing up for changes in standards, curriculum, construction, assessment and technology.  Our enrollment here in the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District has increased.  We have new families from all over the world and embrace the diversity as our community grows.  We applaud our staff for being leaders of learning as we move into the future and innovate in the classroom.  It is very important that we support our learning community through these changes and professional growth. We are committed to collaboration and partnerships as our strategic plan is implemented.  We look forward to cheering on our dedicated and inspirational staff.  As you know we are in full implementation of our Facilities Master Plan. The campus at Neil Cummins has been transformed in phase one modernization, we have broken ground on the new Cove School, and Hall Middle School has new windows and restrooms.  Later in September we will offer the community tours through the new wings at Neil Cummins.  As work on The Cove School facilities and program progresses, we will be developing attendance and district registration procedures to align with our new policies as the district grows.  Stay tuned for more information.  We are first and foremost guaranteeing our schools will be positive healthy learning environments.  We will ensure excellent curriculum and high standards. Our students are our focus. As parents and educators we will provide what our students need to maximize their potential.  This school year we encourage you to stay involved and informed, follow our websites, Facebook and Twitter, and help us shape the next few years to come in our district.  Thank you for your partnership.  Have a wonderful school year.
